A.G. Smith of Edmond joined his Lord and Savior on September 18, 2015. He was born in Okemah, OK on February 14, 1934. His parents were Mack and Ida Bell (Argo) Smith. He married his high school sweetheart, Gwen Weiss, in 1951. He was a long time member of the Edmond Church of Christ. He served in the Army and was very patriotic with a deep love for God, family and country. He was employed at ONG then served with the OKC Police Force for 20 years. Upon retiring, he enjoyed security work, golf, wood-working and reading the Bible.

Survivors include his wife, sons a nd daughters in law, Timothy and Mary Smith, Scot and Elaine Smith, granddaughters' Victoria Smith, Loran Fain, Cheree' Alexander and Rachel Woods. Also three great grandchildren.

Memorial services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday September 22, 2015 at the Edmond Church of Christ Chapel.
