She was the widow of Marcos Torres. Amalia was a beautiful, loving, generous, strong lady. She loved old songs of old Mexico, especially Los Panchos songs. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sons-in-law and daughters-in-law. She is also survived by 3 sisters- Elena, Martina and Ma. De Jesus.

Amalia was so loving, young children from the barrio adopted her as a mom. Everywhere she went she was called beautiful lady or sweet lady. Amalia was greatly loved by many.
