Amanda “Mandy” Haffey, age 63, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026. She was born on May 2, 1962, in Okeene, Oklahoma.

Amanda graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree and was ASCP certified as a Medical Technologist. She dedicated 35 years to a respected career in healthcare, serving patients with compassion and excellence throughout Oklahoma and beyond.

On September 8, 1990, Amanda married the love of her life, Bill Haffey. Together they recently celebrated 35 years of marriage, building a life grounded in love, devotion, and family. Amanda was a deeply loving and proud mother to her daughter, Megan Ferguson (Haffey), and cherished her relationship with her son-in-law, Tyler Ferguson, whom she loved very much.

Amanda was steadfast in her faith in God and Jesus Christ and faithfully attended church with her husband throughout their life together. Her faith was a guiding presence in her life and a source of strength and peace.

Known for her warm heart and big, welcoming smile, Amanda had a natural gift for connecting with others and formed meaningful friendships throughout her life with people from all walks of life. She lived life to the fullest and found joy in snow and water skiing, boating, golfing, spin classes and working out with her daughter, hiking, and relaxing on summer afternoons floating in her pool. She especially loved time spent with family and friends cheering on the OSU Cowboys and the OKC Thunder.

Amanda was preceded in death by her father, Robert Bisel Sr.; her mother, Doris Bisel, both of Okeene, Oklahoma; and her brother, Robert Bisel Jr., of Oklahoma City.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Bill Haffey; her beloved daughter, Megan Ferguson (Haffey); and her son-in-law, Tyler Ferguson, all of Edmond, Oklahoma.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Matthew’s Funeral Home, 601 S. Kelly Avenue, Edmond, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Gracelawn Cemetery, 1407 North Boulevard, Edmond, Oklahoma.

Amanda’s life was a gift to all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
