Amber Danielle Tyler
1974-2021
Amber Danielle (Riley) Tyler was welcomed home by her Lord & Savior on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at The Timbers Skilled Nursing & Therapy home in Edmond, OK. Amber was the second born to Cynthia Ann (McClanahan) Riley and Daniel Riley on July 27, 1974 in Oklahoma City, OK. She attended Carney Public Schools and graduated in May 1992. After graduating, Amber moved to Stillwater & then to Enid where she was blessed with the birth of her first son Christian. After living in Enid several years, she relocated to Florida, where she was blessed with the birth of her second son Austin. In 2006 she decided to move back to Oklahoma to raise her two boys close to her family & friends. Amber raised her two boys as a single parent, often working a variety of jobs from bookkeeping to waiting tables to provide a living for their family. She was a hard worker, enjoying each job she had through the years & even making lifelong friends with bosses, co-workers & even customers where she waited tables at. Amber's cancer diagnosis came unexpectedly in early 2020, however she continued working waiting tables until she was unable to do so due to her illness. Her world revolved around the love of her two boys Christian & Austin, her family & close friends, & she was also one of the biggest Oklahoma State (OSU) fans around, she followed football, basketball & baseball whether the game was on TV or the radio. Amber was extremely strong & courageous as she battled cancer this past year & up until the minute, she went home to meet her Lord & Savior.
Amber was proceeded in death by grandparents Bob & Dorothy Riley, Bill & Barbara McClanahan, Carl & Lorene Orr, dad Carl Orr, Jr., uncle John McClanahan, & aunt Debbie Henderson. Amber is survived by her two sons Christian Tyler and Austin Riley, mother Cynthia Orr of Stillwater, OK, mother Debbie Riley of El Reno, OK, father Daniel Riley, brother Robert Riley of Enid, OK, sister Katie Hall & husband Bradley Hall of Perkins, OK, one niece Burgandi Hall, two nephews Justin Hall & Daniel Riley (wife Heather), two great nephews Ryker Hall and Lincoln Riley. Her family would like to thank the doctors & nurses who cared for her at the Stephenson Cancer Center, OU Hospital, The Timbers Skilled Nursing home, Good Shepherd Hospice & to express a special appreciation to Katie Hall & Cami Bruno for all their assistance through this past year during her illness & passing.
