Annette Eugenia Henley, 77, died Sunday, February 9, 2014 in Dallas, Texas after a courageous battle against cancer. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at New Covenant United Methodist Church in Edmond, OK. Annette was born April 25, 1936 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Orval and Mary Ellen Henley. She lived the majority of her life in the Oklahoma City area but moved to Dallas, TX after she retired from the Oklahoma State Insurance Commission in 2010. She is survived by her daughters Vickie (Mike) Longan and Gena (Rick) Kempf; son Andrew (Mary Helen) Hall; daughter-in-law Karen Pulliam; brothers Jim (Viva) Henley and Kirk (Cheryl) Henley; sisters Keitha (Bill) O'Leary and Deb (Bryan) Royster; grandchildren, Stanford (Sara), Jessica (Isaac), Rachel, Daniel, Tanner, Reed, Mary Isabel; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Jakob, Roman, Baron, and Rona. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son David Pulliam. Annette was an avid bridge player; she loved art and ceramics and she loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and her family and friends will sorely miss her. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org. Services are under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home and Cremation Service-Edmond.
