Anthony David Engel
1949-2024
Anthony David Engel went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, January 28 th , 2024, at 6:15 AM. He graduated from Harrah High School in 1967. He then attended Oklahoma State University where he was a Naval Reservist.
Tony was an entrepreneur who created several successful used car businesses and built Yukon on Wheels, a popular skating rink in Yukon, Oklahoma. In 2014, he sold his used car business, T & D Motor Co. and joined his son, Jason, building classic cars. In 2020, he retired and used his expertise to purchase and prepare cars for Catholic Charities, an activity he truly loved. He was an Oklahoma City Thunder season ticket holder from night one in 2008, to the present. He was also an avid Dallas and OSU Cowboy fan.
Tony is preceded in death by his son, Clinton Engel, granddaughter, Aislin Engel, and his parents, Anthony, and Maxine Engel.
Tony is survived by his wife Diana of Edmond, Oklahoma, daughter, Angela Reynolds, son, Jason Engel and wife, Polly, Siblings; Annette Hill of Harrah, Oklahoma, Carol Willemse and husband, Hans of Harrah, Oklahoma, Joyce Peterson of Edmond, Oklahoma, Paul Engel and wife, Georgia of Edmond, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Jordan Kinzer, Ashley Rothert, Raegan Minear, Katrina Hodges, Zane Engel, and Catherine Engel, one great-grandchild; E. V. Keith, sister, Patricia E. Engel, and a host of other family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
Interment will be held at 2:00 Pm on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
