Barbara Ann Layne

Barbara Ann (Tinnin) Layne passed away at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City on the morning of May 27, 2026, at the age of 63.

Barbara was born on August 28, 1962, in Flint, Michigan. She was a devoted homemaker for over 40 years, during many of which she lived in constant pain. She enjoyed collecting Precious Moments and Snoopy figurines, reading the Bible, and spending time with her family.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 44 years, Matthew Layne; two sons, Doug Layne, and Matthew Layne II and family; a daughter, Diana Mitchell and family; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her three brothers, Wayne Tinnin and family of Moore, Oklahoma, Harley Tinnin and family of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Phil Tinnin and family of Oklahoma City; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Barbara’s passage into eternal life with her Heavenly Father is not the end, but the continuation of a story filled with the ever-present inspiration and love of her everlasting spirit. May she find reunion with her long-passed, but never forgotten parents, family, and friends.
