1941 – 2015

Barbara Musgrove was born on May 9, 1941 to Oran Lee Wasson and Mary Etta (Dacus) Wasson in Denver, Colorado. She graduated from Northeast High School in Oklahoma City and completed 2 years of college at Oklahoma State University. She enjoyed her career as a promotions director at KXY Radio. She loved the outdoors, camping and fishing. Above all, Barbara loved her family, pets and she loved to laugh.

She is survived by her husband, Derrel Musgrove of Sulpher, OK, her sister Mary Detamore of Oklahoma City, her sister Cheryl Overbay (Jonnie) of Del City, her brother Roy Wasson (Elanore) of Norwalk, CA, her son Robert Prince (Stacy) of Oklahoma City, and her daughter Erica Hutchison (Thomas), of Edmond, OK. Also, her stepdaughter Sherri Grant (Allan) of Angola, IN and stepson Glen Musgrove (Lisa) of Edmond, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren, two nieces and seven nephews.

There will be a ceremony celebrating her life on Monday, January 12 at Matthews Funeral Home at 601 S. Kelley in Edmond. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you please make a contribution to the Disabled Veterans of America.
