Beatrice F. (Laskowsky) Lenk, 93, passed away on Wednesday, the 10 ^th of September, 2014, at home in Edmond, Oklahoma.She was born October 18, 1920, in Detroit, Michigan, to George and Alma Laskowsky.Known as Betty to her friends, she loved gardening, especially at her beloved cottage, reading, and spending time with her grand and great grand children.Betty is survived by her son, Randy Lenk, and her daughter, Wendy Kappers, and her son-in-law, Ken Kappers; and her grandchildren, Clint Edwards, Sarah (Edwards) Farrell, Melissa Edwards and James Lenk; and her great grandchildren (Tyton, Tinley, and Emme); and her step-grandchildren Leana (Kappers) Dozier and Kyle Kappers; and her step great grandchildren (Mitchell, Kieran, Kellan, Alexandra, and Kyla); and their spouses, along with many of her cousins, nephews and nieces.Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Harry Lenk; her son, Denny; and her 7 siblings, Carl, Arbutus, Norbert, Wilbur, Darleen, Harold, and Arnold. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 308 NW 164 ^th Street, Edmond, OK 73013, in her name. Funeral services will be 2pm Monday September 15, 2014 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel.
