Beatrice "Bea" Pfeifer

1914-2014

Beatrice "Bea" Pfeifer, aged 100, died on Saturday, July 5, 2014.in Edmond, OK. Bea was born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 18, 1914 to Aaron and Pauline Lefkowitz Englehart. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband of 63 years, Harold. She was also predeceased by her three brothers, Herbert, Sanford, and Donald and her four sisters, Josephine , Grace, Sylvia and Leona. She is survived by her daughter Carol Wells and her son-in-law Don Wells of Edmond, OK and several nieces and nephews.

Bea was retired from the US Department of Commerce in Washington, DC. She spent many years volunteering and was awarded the State of Texas Nathan C Martin Lifetime Achievement award for her commitment to volunteer services. She also enjoyed bowling and traveling.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday (July 10) at 1 p.m. at the Llano Cemetery in Amarillo, TX

The family would like to thank her caregivers, especially Barbara, Carol, Jerome, Venus, Cory, Lasonya, Talesa, Misty and Chris for their love and devotion to her.
