Benjamin "Tyler" Bural

Benjamin "Tyler" Bural passed from this life on June 30 th 2020, just 9 days before he would have turned 27. A friend to all, a stranger to none, his youth only amplifies the heartache of the family and friends who honor his memory.
Tyler was born on July 9 th 1993 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City to Lisa and Ben Bural. In addition to being adorable, with big, round, blue eyes and high, ample cheeks, Tyler was an inquisitive and precocious child who adored animals. He grew to be a young man who was intellectually curious, who loved to learn and sought out new ideas, cultures, music, food, and people. He loved embarking on adventures and road trips, loved to laugh and had a delightful sense of humor. He was fiercely loyal to his family, an amazing brother and son, and an affable peacemaker. Tyler may have died young but he made the most of the short time he was given, and lived a full, honest life.
Tyler had a strong work ethic accentuated by his friendly and personable nature. At age 16, he got his first job at a McDonald's down the street from where he lived. He stuck with it during his schooling and summers and made it to a manager position. He started at AT&T in sales/service in 2014. He stayed with that job until January 2020 when he moved to work for Paycom as a Service Specialist.
Tyler spent his life caring for his family, pursuing his passions and making friends everywhere he went. Tyler graduated from Edmond Memorial High School and attended OSU and UCO. He played the trombone and tuba for the Edmond Memorial band and was elected the "Band King" by his peers for his senior year.
His hobbies included martial arts, online gaming, and tabletop games like Dungeons & Dragons. Tyler was a licensed Amateur Radio operator, and enjoyed tinkering with his ham radio. He really enjoyed time with his friends and cooking for them. Tyler offered a non-traditional wedding experience as a licensed officiant, and conducted the ceremony for several of his friends. His big loves were his family, his friends and his dog, Gus. He was kind to animals of all kinds. He loved to mentor younger kids who looked to him as a big brother. He excelled in all brotherly arenas. He is survived by his parents and stepmother, Joan Ferrell; brother, Zachary Bural; brother, James Fulks and wife Jess Glasser; brother, Matt Fulks and wife Lisa; grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS.org) or a charity of your choice. A celebration of life service will be held at Saint Luke's United Methodist Church, 222 NW 15 th Street, Oklahoma City at 2:00 pm on Wednesday July 8 th 2020.
