Bertha Iona Hart, 97 of Edmond, Oklahoma was born March 21, 1916 in Arcadia, Oklahoma. To Walter Ernest and Myrtle Fay (Laughlin) Kennard. Bertha married Gaylon Wright Hart ( Jack) and he precedes her in death. She loved and was an avid flower gardener and loved to sew also.

Bertha passed away on March 14, 2013 in Edmond.

She is survived by her children, Betty Janet Cheatham and her husband Dan R. Cheatham and Jo Frances Seitsinger. Her grandchildren, Rachael D. Cheatham, Alex R. Cheatham and wife Shelly, Dan R. Cheatham II and wife Miriam, Karla L. Schwartz and great grandchildren, Gabrielle Arie, Eleana Arie, Ben Schwartz, Ryan A. Cheatham, Ronya Cheatham, Danny R. Cheatham III.

Bertha is preceded in death also by her son Gaylon W. Hart Jr..

Graveside services are 3:00 p.m. Monday March 18, 2013 at Gracelawn Cemetery, Edmond. Memorial Contributions can be made to Southern Hills Christian Church.

Services are under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
