Beverly Wynn Whiddon

February 11, 1935 – February 13, 2015

Beverly Wynn Whiddon passed away just two days after her 80 ^th birthday. She was an active member of the Edmond Church of Christ for the past 40 years. She spent 23 years as a department secretary at Oklahoma Christian University. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dwight Gage and Imogene Elnora Robertson, and by her brother, Dwight Gage Robertson Jr. She is survived by her husband of almost 62 years, Robert Eugene Whiddon, of Edmond OK, and her five children: Jan Lee Ramirez and her husband Gonzalo of Lubbock TX, Robert Eugene Whiddon Jr and his wife Debbie of Edmond OK, James Dwight Whiddon and his wife Gay of Oklahoma City OK, Jill Ann Sanders and her husband Craig of Edmond OK, and Jack Thomas Whiddon and his wife Renee of Waco TX. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday February 19, at 10:00am, at the Edmond Church of Christ, 801 S Bryant, Edmond OK 73034. Burial to follow immediately after the service. Viewing will be on Wednesday, February 18, from 8:00am to 8:00pm, at Matthews Funeral Home, 601 S Kelly, in Edmond.
