Gayle Cleary has touched so very many lives and has been an anchor of happiness and support for many. No one is perfect, but Gayle was always the perfect person in the moment for anyone and everyone. She always had a way with words and would give us not just what we wanted to hear but what we needed to hear. She had a way to present anything whatsoever in such a way that we could receive it and appreciate it.
Whether moral support or even a recipe, Gayle was one of those individuals that always aimed to please no matter what the need was, but her specialty and ultimate favorite way to help was to give out smiles and laughter. Her joy was so contagious that you could always hear her smile over the phone. Her purpose on earth was to serve and please others and that is what she did best. She had a huge servant’s heart. Your joy was her joy. The battle against her biggest adversary, breast cancer, may have weakened her physical heart, but we all know that it was the servanthood within her spiritual heart that kept her blessing us for over 30 more years. Everyone contributed so well and abundantly to her life that her cup always ran over with love, joy and laughter.
In lieu of flowers, food, gifts, cards, etc., the family is asking for donations to be given in her name to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. Without a doubt, this is what she would really really want as it is her favorite organization to donate to. It will honor her in ways beyond what anyone could realize.
