November 23, 1923 – July 10, 2022

A devoted wife, loving mother, and faithful friend, Billie passed into the next life at age 98. She was active in PEO, played bridge, golf, and loved to host parties. She and Ed travelled, enjoyed traveling, and was an avid reader. Billie and her husband, Ed, we founding and active members of Village United Methodist Church, where she was on staff for 11 years. They enjoyed their 17 years playing golf at Falconhead. She enjoyed her volunteer work at the Disabled Adult Foundation. She was very involved at the Statesman's Club where she started the book club and was a part of many activities.

Billie loved her family, her friends, and her faith. She never missed an opportunity to vote, both in local and national elections. In the 1950's her home was the voting place for her precinct with big voting machines in the garage!

Billie was preceded in death by Edward M. Coon in 2014, two months short of 70 years of marriage.

She is survived by children Bonnie (Glen) Smith, Patti (Carl) Pojezny, and Bryan (Tiffany) Coon. Grandchildren include Jill Ferrell (Jeff), Michael Pojezny (Michaela), Josh Smith (Lindsey), Brandon Coon (Crystal), Jill Bunch (Adam), Brittany Grubbs (Tyler), Kevin Pojezny (Ashley); and 17 greatgrandchildren. Billie was proud of and adored them all.

Special thanks to her caregivers: Sandra, Austia, Peggy, Bonita, Gail, and Dreenie.

A Celebration of her life will be July 19 at 11:00 at Village United Methodist Church, 2501 W. Britton Road, OKC 73120. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the church.
