Billie Kay Kilpatrick, 78, died February 23, 2021.
Billie Kay was born on December 23, 1942 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to William and Hettie Davis. She graduated from Midwest City High School. She attended college and worked at Western Electric. While at Western Electric, she was crowned The Hello Charlie Queen.
Billie Kay graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1973. She started Rehabilitation Services Associates in Oklahoma City. After a long and successful nursing career, she retired.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Kilpatrick. They were married 56 years. She and Bruce had one daughter, Kimberly Kay Hammond.
Billie Kay loved to travel and play golf with all of their friends. She and Bruce had a house at Lake Okoboji and spent many happy summers there. They also lived at Lake of the Ozarks. She is survived by her daughter Kim and Son-in-Law, Ron and four grandchildren; Spencer Branstetter, Logan Crow, Carson Hammond, and Emery Hammond. She is also survived by her brother, Earl Davis and his wife Jeana who live in Choctaw.
A memorial service will take place on Friday, February 26 at 10:00 a.m. at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel in Edmond, Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Heaven House 8501 N. Georgia Avenue Oklahoma City, OK 73114.
