Bobby Edward Baker, 74, of Arcadia, Oklahoma died on August 21, 2025.
He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Bobby Roy Baker and Bette Jo Witt-Baker on July 31, 1951. Bobby graduated from U.S. Grant High School in Oklahoma City in 1969. He served 4 years in the United States Air Force before beginning his lifelong career with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. He married his wife Pamela on November 20, 1981. Bobby was an avid bowler, scoring multiple perfect 300 games during his lifetime. In addition to bowling, he was an active member of the Knights of Columbus, lending his bowling expertise to help organize and run their bowling leagues and charity tournaments. He also enjoyed fishing and camping with his friends and family. He had a big personality and loved to make people laugh with a good joke or funny anecdote.
Bobby is survived by his wife Pamela Baker; daughter Dusti Alford (Keith), son Justin Baker (Amber), daughter Kegon Boyd (Mathew); grandchildren Brock, Kara, Ryan, Abigail, Arabelle, Brynna, and Quinn; great-grandchild Daniel. He is predeceased by his parents, Bobby Roy and Betty Baker, and his sister Pamela Arnold.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, September 8, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Matthews Funeral Home Chapel, 601 S. Kelly Ave, Edmond, OK 73003.
