Bobbye J. Stout

1945 – 2023

Bobbye Jean Stout (Greer) of Edmond, OK, was a beloved Wife, Mother, and Grannye.  She was born on November 20, 1945, to Winnie Jewel and Shadie Lee Greer. She passed away with her family by her side on July 21, 2023.

She graduated from Midwest City High School in 1964, then attended Oklahoma State University where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education in 1969. At OSU she met the love of her life, Kenneth D. Stout. They were married for 54 years.

Bobbye was definitely very creative.  She and a dear friend designed cookie ornaments for all seasons.  Their Dough Babies business was so successful that many owners still cherish their ornaments that they purchased long ago.

Bobbye also had a flair for interior decorating.  She could immediately advise you what you needed to add vibrancy to a room.

Bobbye also loved quilting and playing games with her friends and family. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Ken Stout of Edmond, OK; her son Derek, his wife Jennifer, and their children Barrett, Sutton, and Morgan of McKinney, TX; her son Matt, his wife Cheryl and their children Mason and Avery of Broken Arrow, OK.
