Bruce Robert Sexton

Bruce Robert Sexton, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on February 15, 1950, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Bruce was the son of Robert and Bernadette Sexton, who preceded him in death.

Bruce spent more than 40 years with Cummins, Inc. in Fridley, Minnesota, where he built a respected career marked by dedication, integrity, and strong work ethic. Known for his skill and resourcefulness, Bruce could fix just about anything, and friends and family relied on his willingness to lend a helping hand.

A man deeply rooted in his Christian faith, Bruce served faithfully as a church deacon, living out his calling through service and compassion.

Bruce is survived by his devoted wife, Margery Sexton, and his son Jesse Sexton and daughter-in-law Larra Sexton. He deeply loved and cherished his three grandchildren—Mallory, Jonah, and Eloise Sexton—who brought him immense joy and pride.

Bruce is also survived by his brothers Dennis (Mona) Sexton and Ronald (Julie) Sexton, and by sister-in-law Darla Sexton. He was preceded in death by his siblings Carol Sexton and Brian Sexton.

Bruce’s life was defined by his faith, his family, and his willingness to serve others. His presence, wisdom, and fun-loving spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew him, and his legacy will live on in the lives he touched.
