Carla J. Clark
1966-2014
Carla lost her brave battle with cancer on March, 29, 2014 and has now gone on ahead of the family to be with the Lord. Carla was born to Paul and Jonelle Walenciak on June 28, 1966 in Tucson, Arizona.
Carla attended Hope High School, Manzano High School and the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM. It was in Albuquerque that she met and married the love of her life Dale E. Clark.
They were married on March 14, 1987.
Carla's life revolved around her two children, Ryan 24 and Taylor 20. Carla became a sports fan and loved attending games and any event her children participated in including football, baseball, basketball,
cheer, dance and gymnastics.
Carla is survived by her parents of Chama, NM, her husband Dale of Edmond, two children – Ryan Joel Clark of Las Cruces, NM and Taylor Nicole Clark a sophomore at OU, two brothers, Nick Walenciak of
Weatherford, OK and Michael Walenciak of Allen, TX, two sisters in law and several nieces and nephews.
Carla was blessed to have many close friends, both young and old. She worked with special needs children at Chisholm Elementary in Edmond and loved her coworkers and the children.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Victory Christian Center with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery.
