Carmelita Jordan
1933 – 2022
Carmelita Jordan, 89 years of age, passed away surrounded by family on February 8, 2022. Carmelita was born on January 10, 1933 in Hulbert, Oklahoma to Geneva and Roy Loy.
In 1941, she moved to Oklahoma City where she met the love of her life, Lloyd Jordan. Carmelita and Lloyd were married on May 1, 1953. Carmelita graduated from Central High School and studied at the University of Oklahoma. She was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church.
Carmelita is survived by her sons Gene Jordan and Gary Jordan and his wife Carolyn; her granddaughter Cristi Campbell and her husband Anthony; and grandsons, Noah George, Ethan Jordan, and Connor Jordan.
Viewing will be at 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Matthews Funeral Home. Service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel. A private family internment will follow.
