Carole Lynne Holmberg, 70, of Edmond, OK passed away on July 6, 2024. She was born in Houston, Texas, the daughter of Jean M Holmberg and Mary Kay (Kokenge) Holmberg. As a young girl she moved with her family to Bartlesville, Oklahoma where she fell in love with horses. This was one of the loves of her life.  In 1967 the family moved to Oklahoma City where she graduated from Putnam City High School and attended the University of Central Oklahoma.  She took classes in Archeology and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management.

After college Carole worked for many years as a draftsman for Cities Service Oil and Hunt Oil companies.   In her spare time she loved hunting for arrowheads, artifacts and was an avid rockhound.
