Before the family, the names, the details, before all else, we remember and honor how Catherine was a kind, considerate, fun, and thoughtful person. Her beautiful smile and infectious laughter would instantly fill a room with warmth. Nobody cared more about family and friends than Catherine. We will all miss her greatly.
Catherine Denwalt-Graham, 68, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away unexpectedly on April 23, 2024.
Catherine was born on August 25, 1955, to Bruce A. and Betty D. Denwalt in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Catherine graduated from Del City High School in 1973 and went on to study at Southern Nazarene University.
In June 1996, Catherine met Jack Graham at a fundraising event in Oklahoma City and love was in the air. Jack and Catherine were married later that year and Catherine became a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Jack and Catherine were blessed with 27 years of loving marriage.
Catherine had a long and fulfilling career at American Fidelity Assurance Company, where she was a Vice President and managed SQM and the HSA division. In 2016, Catherine retired and enjoyed spending her time scrapbooking and devoting herself to her family and friends.
Catherine was preceded in death by her father, Bruce A. Denwalt, and granddaughters Bailey Thrasher, and Daisy Graham.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Graham, her mother Betty Denwalt, her brother Mark Denwalt, of the home, brother David Denwalt, and Uncle Tom (Regina) Steadman. She is also survived by her stepchildren Ryan (Jamie) Graham, Jeremy (Amy) Graham, Kristi (Clint Patterson) Graham, her much loved grandchildren Taylor Stein, Destiny Boyd, Emily Billigmeier, Jake Billigmeier, Sydney Graham, Chloe Graham, Fallon Graham, Jackson Graham, and Tinley Graham along with eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 1-8 p.m. at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond, OK.
Services will be held on Wednesday, May 01, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Crossings Community Church, 14600 Portland Ave., Oklahoma City, OK with Reverend Steve Seaton officiating. Interment to follow shortly after the service at Arlington Memorial Park in Midwest City, OK.,
