Charles Allen Huggard, 76, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024, in Edmond, Oklahoma. Charles was born December 15, 1947, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Arvona Huggard and Alice (Genzer) Huggard. He had 3 brothers and 1 sister and lived on a farm in Deer Creek who were all very active in school events, basketball, 4H, farming and hauling hay.

Charles attended Deer Creek School's and graduated from Deer Creek High School in 1966. After high school, he attended and graduated from Central State University with a degree in Marketing.

Charlie aka Chuckels by his casino buddies and Cookie Man by some of our grandkids always had a funny story to tell, a smile and a wink. His nieces and nephews loved spending time with him. He also shared bags of his famous grandmother's recipe cookies with family, cousins and even his many friends/co-workers at WalMart. We all loved those cookies! In his spare time, he enjoyed going to the casino.

Charlie is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Janice Hedrick and his brother-in-law, Timothy Hedrick.

He is survived by his brother, Gary Huggard and wife Patty of Salt Lake City, Utah; brother, Phil Huggard and wife Mary Kay of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; brother, David Huggard and wife Shelly of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and long-time best friend, Larry Benedict.

A celebration of life will be on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel at 601 S. Kelly Ave Edmond, OK 73003.
