Charles Kenneth “Ken” Moore, Sr. passed away on September 29, 2026. He was born on February 2, 1932, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Ken married his high school sweetheart, Anita Hope Stevenson, on July 3, 1951. They shared nearly 68 years together until her passing on April 14, 2019. They were blessed with four children: Charles Kenneth Moore, Jr.; Cary Dean Moore, who preceded him in death; Keith Lynn Moore; and Kelly Jon Moore. Ken was also a proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Ken received his education at Polytechnic High School, Texas Christian University, and Southwestern Baptist Seminary, all in Fort Worth. During the Korean War, he proudly served in the United States Army as part of the 52nd Airborne, serving with honor.
A lifelong servant and pastor, Ken ministered to churches throughout Texas, Kansas, Colorado, and New Mexico. For the final 15 years of his career before retirement, he served on the staff of Hoffmantown Baptist Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His life and work reflected a deep commitment to his faith and to serving others.
The family extends special appreciation to all the staff at Teal Ridge Assisted Living and Trinity Hospice for their care and support.

Ken leaves behind a legacy of faith, service, family, and devotion that will be remembered by the many lives he touched.
