Cheryl Kay Cox
1963-2017
Cheryl Kay Cox came into this world on July 27, 1963. As a child, she would spend her summers building tree houses in the nearby woods with her brothers. She also loved riding go carts around the neighborhood and waterskiing. She enjoyed playing softball and was most valuable player 2 years in a row.
From Hefner Junior High she went to Putnam City North High School. She then studied at Oklahoma University. From there she traveled the state as a title researcher examining county records. She also worked for Capitol Abstract and Title Company and American Eagle Title. She loved playing golf with her friends and was a member at River Oaks Golf Club for many years.
On Monday, June 26 she was called away on a special mission with God.
Cheryl is survived in life by her parents, Clifford and Betty Cox of Edmond, OK, brother, Brad Cox of Siem Reap, Cambodia, brother, John Cox of Tulsa, OK a large family of aunts, uncles and numerous cousins and her beloved dog Abigale "Abby". Words cannot describe how much she will be missed. We love you Cheryl.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Henderson Hills Baptist Church in Edmond, OK.
