Christina (Chris) Pickle
1949-2013
Christina (Chris) Elizabeth Cuneo Pickle, 63, completed her courageous battle with cancer on April 22, 2013. Chris was born August 6, 1949 in Flushing, NY to Roy and Geraldine Cuneo and moved to Oklahoma in 1969. She is survived by her husband, Tom of Oklahoma City, father, Roy of Lindenhurst, NY, daughter and son-in-law Betsy and Gary McClanahan of Edmond, and son and daughter-in-law Cary and Tony Brand of Oklahoma City. Chris was the proud grandmother of Hannah Brand and Ryan McClanahan.
Chris served as the office manager for Mid-Continent Airmotive of Oklahoma City for 35 years until her retirement in 2012. She was an accomplished pianist. Chris loved to laugh, enjoyed gardening, traveling, playing tennis, and baking cookies. Chris was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends.
She was surrounded by family at the time of her death. That final few days were filled with laughter and fond memories. Chris wasn't shy with her opinions and made her love of family clear.
Chris' life will be remembered at a memorial service at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 24
th
