Christopher "Logan" Shoffner

Logan came into our lives on August 20 th , 2003 in Edmond, Oklahoma and was called to the Lord on October 1 st , 2017 surrounded by the love and presence of his parents and siblings at home. Logan was welcomed into heaven by his paternal great-grandfather Ivan Shoffner, paternal great-grandparents Edmond & Eileen Logan, aunt Jennifer Shoffner, maternal great-grandparents John & Marietta Stone and by his maternal great-grandparents Bob & Margaret Lipscomb. Logan is survived by Chris and Emily Shoffner whom feel very honored and blessed to be his parents. Also, survived by his adoring siblings and best friends, Sarah Mae and Ty Shoffner. Along with his paternal great-grandmother Monica Shoffner, paternal grandparents Robert & Sharon Shoffner and maternal grandparents Dan & Marilyn Lipscomb; as well as many relatives and friends.

Logan was born with a rare, life-threatening genetic disorder called MECP2 Duplication. Although he only lived fourteen years on earth; Logan was fearfully and wonderfully made and fulfilled his life's purpose through the glory of God (Psalm 139:14). Logan taught all of us the true meaning of unconditional love and how to 'celebrate who we are'. Logan's smile and eyes communicated love. Logan graduated from 8 th grade at Cimarron Middle School in Edmond, Oklahoma in May 2017. Logan found joy in all things Sesame Street. He loved watching the best parts of movies over and over again, listening to books being read to him in a character's voice, his Big iPad and his loveys, interacting with friends and family, being outdoors, swinging on the swing, splashing in the water, and sipping on his Dr. Pepper. But most of all he loved his sister and brother.

Services will be held at St. Monica's Catholic Church – 2001 N. Western Ave., Edmond, OK 73012 – on Friday, October 6 th , 2017 at 2:00 p.m. (There are three cry rooms available for viewing of the service with small children if needed).
