Clinton "Clint" Tyler Colbert passed away on July 4, 2024, at the age of 39 in Edmond, Oklahoma. Born on August 21, 1984, in Oklahoma City, Clint grew into a man known for his sharp wit and sincere heart. He could get a laugh out of everyone who knew him and had the rare ability to speak volumes with only a look.
Clint graduated from Oklahoma State University and spent the majority of his professional life serving as the Director of Operations at the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs.
A devout member of the Oakdale Church of Christ, Clint's faith was a cornerstone of his life, providing strength during challenging times and joy in moments of celebration. His commitment to his faith was matched by his devotion to his loved ones. Clint had a huge heart that knew no bounds in his affection and loyalty to his family and closest friends.
His greatest joy was his role as a loving husband to Ashley and as a father to Abe and Laurel. He was an avid coach of his son's baseball teams, taking immense pride in nurturing the young athletes both on and off the field. He was also an enthusiastic supporter of all of Abe and Laurel's many activities.
Clint is survived by his wife, Ashley; son, Abe; daughter, Laurel; mother, Sherry Colbert; father, Guy Colbert; brothers, Brady, and Austin Colbert; sister, Danna McWherter; grandmother, Mary Colbert; and grandfather, Bill Johnson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesse Colbert, and Shirley Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 9th, at the Oakdale Church of Christ. Clint's life and legacy will be remembered by all who knew him as a beacon of love, faith, and joyful spirit.
