Colleen Belote

Colleen, born on June 20, 1963, in Fort Worth, Texas, departed from this world peacefully at home on September 2, 2026. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and selfless dedication to others, a testament to the depth of her character and the warmth of her spirit.

Colleen was a daughter, a sister, a mother who lived with determination, independence, and a spirit all her own. In high school she was a cheerleader and prom queen. She grew into a beautiful, independent woman who worked hard to build a successful career as an independent insurance agent.

As we say goodbye to our dear Colleen, we remember her not for the sorrow of her passing but for the joy and love she brought into our lives. Her legacy will live on in the stories shared, the lives she touched, and the love she gave so freely.

A Memorial Service to honor the life of Colleen Belote will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Matthews Funeral Home Chapel in Edmond, Oklahoma.
