Conner Chase McElveen
1992-2025
Conner McElveen, 32, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away on May 16th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Conner was a true inspiration, known for his warm smile, deep faith and giving nature.
Conner was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma where he was an active member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. After Graduation Conner took an assistant coaching and teaching position at Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City where he loved teaching history and coaching football and track. Conner moved to Tulsa to obtain his master's degree, and he taught at Webster Middle School.
Conner preferred working and coaching teens in an at-risk environment where he could foster faith, discipline and self-esteem. His former athletes soaked up all his positive coaching and thrived under his structure and infectious energy.
Conner touched countless lives and the lives of many children, through his music and love.
He excelled at Soccer, Football and academics at Edmond Memorial High School. Conner left teaching to work with his dad on guided fishing tours at Kaw Lake. He was hard working and a real handyman.
Conner is survived by his lovely partner, Ash Ringgold, and her two children, his mother, Nancy (Walker) McElveen of Oklahoma City, his father Paul and bonus mom, Elaine McElveen of Kaw, Oklahoma, his brother, Dwight McElveen (and family), his brother Tanner McElveen (and his fiancé Kylee), his sister, Becky (and her family), and brother Tyler, and his family. Conner was the rock and the glue that held this big, bold, blended family together.
Conner's passion was music and his guitar. He had a gift of performing and playing in the Tulsa and Oklahoma City music scene. Conner was loved by the numerous nieces, nephews, grandmas, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He had an enormous circle of friends.
A memorial service for Conner will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Henderson Hills Baptist Church. A visitation with family will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2025 at Matthews Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Capitol Hill High School Football team in Conner McElveen's name. The donations will help provide new shoes, and much needed equipment for promising athletes.
