Curtis Demoin Cook
1952-2020
Curtis Cook,67, or Edmond, OK passed away July 12, 2020 in his home. He was born August 2, 1952 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He attended Elementary School in Washita, OK in his early grades. He graduated from Oolagah High School and earned his Bachelor's degree at USAO in Chickasha. He worked as a Lab Tech for Phillips Petroleum in Bartlesville, OK. After moving to Edmond he worked many years as a Lab Manager for Veolia Water in OKC where part of his duties were checking water supplies of local communities. He retired from there in 2018.
He was preceded in death by his Mother, Sue Rowe Cook, Father Demoin Cook and a brother, Michael Cook.
He is survived by his partner, Roger Gibson, his aunt Karen Sandini, son Tyler Cook and daughter Amber Cook Harkey. His grandchildren are JR and Coyote Cook, and Ethan, Anna, Riley and Dee Dee Harkey. He also had Joe and Ann Cook of Grandfield and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at Memory Gardens Memorial Park in Guthrie, OK on Thursday, July 16 at 2 p.m. under the direction of Mathews Funeral Home of Edmond, OK.
