1962-2015

Dale E. Shogren died August 25, 2015 surrounded by family and friends. He was born on May 22, 1962 to Orin and Dorothy Shogren in Salina, Kansas. He grew up and graduated from Salina Central High School. He met his wife, Gwendolyn Perkins, and was married in 1983. Dale studied at Kansas State University for Electrical Engineering. He also attended Troy State University for a Masters in Human Resources and Air Command and Staff College in Birmingham, Alabama.

Dale and his family worshipped at First Presbyterian Church in Edmond where he attended Friday Morning Men's Group. He enjoyed laughing and spending time with his family by going to his son's football games, daughters' band events and countless family TV nights.

He is survived by his wife, Gwen, twin daughters, Caitlin and Chelsea, daughter, Taylor, son, Matthew, parents, Orin and Dorothy, brother, Mark, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 2 p.m. with a burial service following directly after. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Matthew's Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be set up at Tinker Federal Credit Union.
