Danny Joe Best
1955-2022
Danny Joe Best, 67, of Edmond, was born October 17, 1955, in El Reno Oklahoma to Oscar and Jo Best. Danny graduated from Edmond High School in 1974. He participated in football, basketball, and baseball. He married the love of his life of 45 years, Mary Sue Noble. He graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1979, where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
Danny was known as "Coffee Man" and owned and retired from his own coffee business "Extreme Bean".
On February 1, 2019, Danny was blessed with the gift of a single lung transplant. This gift enabled him to extend his life and not just live but live well. Danny was eternally grateful for this gift of life and was an exceptional steward of this most precious gift.
Danny was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He shared this love with is dad, brothers, as well as his kids, son-in-law and other family and friends. Many great memories were made on Lake Texoma at the cabin, in the deer stands and duck blinds.
Danny made his transition on November 5, 2022. His survivors include: his wife Mary Sue; Daughter and son-in-law Kelby and Todd Martin along with his granddaughters, Laken and Landry Martin; Son Parker Best and his faithful companion "Potter" whom Danny loved dearly, along with his brothers, David, Brad and Jeff Best. He is proceeded in death by his parents and his mother-in-law, Mary Noble.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel, Edmond, OK.
