Debora Ann Springer

November 30, 1953 — November 30, 2024

Debora Ann (Carr) Springer was born on May 6, 1954, in Corona, California, and went home to be with her Lord on March 22, 2025. She is survived by her husband, Gregg Springer, her daughters, Sarah Heiniger (Dave) and Stephanie Barthlett (Lee), her grandchildren, Jackson Heiniger, Calvin Heiniger, Penelope Heiniger and Seth White, her sisters, Evonne Varden and Kathy Patrick, her nieces Brianne Cruz and Shannon Bojorques and her nephew, Ryan Bojorquez.

Debbie loved her God, her family, and her gardens. After living in many cities in the United States and in Bermuda, she found peace and solitude in retirement on our family farm in Edmond, Oklahoma. Deb was a master quilter and many of her works of art found permanent homes on the laps of many women around the country undergoing cancer treatment. She loved teaching her grandchildren how to quilt and especially loved creating all sorts of incredible craft projects with her  granddaughter Penny!

We are creating a memorial garden in her honor on our property. In lieu of gifts or flowers, we would be honored if you would start a plant or tree in your own garden in her honor as well.

A private family service will be held Wednesday March 26, 2025, at Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond, Oklahoma.
