Dennis S. Feinberg, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at age 80 on March 7, 2022, surrounded by family. He was born in 1941 in Brooklyn, New York, and moved with his family to Frederick, Oklahoma.  He was a member of the 1956 Frederick High School Bombers football team, the first integrated high school football team to win a state championship. This team was inducted as a Team of Legend into the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame in 2007.

Dennis served in the United States Air Force as a Navigator/Weapons System Operator, flying the F-111A, RF-4, and EB-66.   He served several combat tours in Southeast Asia and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his bravery in Operation Linebacker and Linebacker II during the Vietnam conflict. He was also stationed for two tours in England, including RAF Upper Heyford, where he met his beloved wife, Eileen.

He enjoyed his post-military career in Hawaii working as an administrator for the law firm Sterling & Tucker, and enjoying interests such as woodturning, carpentry, University of Hawaii sports, ballroom dancing, playing the harmonica, and being a doting Papa.  In 2018, Dennis returned to Oklahoma to enjoy his sunset years.  "I don't know what it is, but Oklahoma just pulls me back," he said.

Dennis is remembered for his devotion to his family, friends, and furbabies.

He is survived by sons Andrew (Ruth) Baker and Barry Feinberg, granddaughters Kaila and Lauren, dog Curly, and extended family in New York and England.  He is predeceased by wife Eileen.

An interment of ashes will be held on June 8, 2022, at 11:00 am, in Frederick Memorial Cemetery.
