Dolly Marie Majors
1929-2020
Dolly Marie Majors, 91 of Edmond, Oklahoma was born January 15, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York to Salvatore and Hazel Cappadona. She spent most of her adult life in Edmond as well as most of her career.
She was married to David B. Colson and they started their contracting business. David passed away in 1969. In 1977 she married Jim Majors and he passed earlier this year. Dolly passed away on November 25, 2020 in Oklahoma City.
Dolly is survived by her children, Henry David Colson and wife Zeny of El Reno, Sandra Lee Baker and husband James David of Norman, Patsy Thomas of Edmond and Dahlene Rester and husband Ross of Edmond. 20 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by her son William Thomas Colson and grandson David Ross Rester.
Services are 2:00 p.m. Thursday December 3, 2020 at Matthews Funeral Home, Chapel with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
