Donald Lee Waggoner

Donald Lee Waggoner passed away in Edmond, Oklahoma on June 16, 2026, after a short illness. He was born January 25, 1939, in Ryan, Oklahoma, to Clinton Waggoner and Connie Turner.

Donald attended East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma and retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. In their spare time, Donald and Glenda raised and showed German Shepherds and enjoyed playing cards or watching football with Devin.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Cindy Durett of Moore, Oklahoma; brother-in-law, Stanford West of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Karen McKee and husband, Jim of Preston, Oklahoma; daughter-in-law, Jenifer Waggoner of Edmond, Oklahoma; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Lee (West) Waggoner; sons, Devin Lee Waggoner and Michael Ray Waggoner; mother and stepfather, Connie and John Durrett; father, Clinton Waggoner; brothers, Alfred Durrett and Dickie Durrett.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond, Oklahoma.
