1930-2015
Donna (Price) George 85, was born April 2, 1930 in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma to L.E. Price and Bertha (Cribbs) Price. She went to her heavenly home Wednesday, December 16, 2015, to celebrate Christmas with her family who have preceded her in death; husband C.A.,parents L.E. and Bertha Price, brother Homer Price, other relatives and friends.
She graduated from Lone Wolf High School in 1948. She married C.A. in 1948. They began their married life in Hobart, Oklahoma. After C.A. began a career in banking in Hobart, they moved to different towns for new opportunities. They lived in Sentinel, Yukon, Medford,and moved to Edmond when C.A. retired.
Donna enjoyed playing bridge, Republican Women in Grant County, traveling, Christian Women's Fellowship Group. She also enjoyed her Cousin's and high school friends get to gathers. Her children and grandchildren were a source of joy to her. She witnessed the wedding of her two granddaughters and got to meet the six great-grandchildren.
She is survived by daughters Terri Nicoll, Edmond, Sharla Keller (Jim) Augusta, KS., De Layne George, Edmond; grandchildren Nathan Nicoll, Colorado Springs, CO, Brooke (Matt) Metheny,De Soto, KS., Amy (Tyler) Gilliland, Olathe, KS.; great grandchildren Macy, Alyssa, Peyton Metheny, Kaylyn, Caleb, Callie Gilliland. Sisters Bernadine (Jack) Stovall, Anita (Bill) Timmons, brother Ray (Mary Ann) Price, and sister in law Margaret Price. Also nephews Jerry,Larry, Jack Jr., Jesse Stovall, Stephen Timmons, and Brent Price; nieces La Donna Armstrong, Pamela Jinks, Tina Swafford, and Jeretta (George) Sudduth.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 Friday, December 18, 2015, Gracelawn Cemetery Boulevard and Danforth. Memorials to American Cancer Society-Oklahoma.
