Dorothy Jo Dennis, 86, graduated this life on January 16th, 2021. Born in Fort Worth, Texas on May 14th, 1934, Dorothy ultimately became a loving and devoted matriarch who opened her home, her care, and her kitchen to her family at every opportunity. Throughout her life, she also demonstrated her heart as a talented painter and illustrator and a caretaker of animals of all types. She was a longtime member of the New Covenant United Methodist Church family.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Jarvis, and parents Vada and Marvin White. She is survived by her daughters Linda Cloud and Catherine Hoffman and her husband Tom; Grandchildren Keri Cloud and Kim and Brad Bandy, and great-grandchildren Layne and Liv.
A viewing will be held at Matthews Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 20th, 12-6 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, January 21st at 2 p.m. at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond.
