Doyle enjoyed his very fruitful garden and sharing his delicious vegetables!  He enjoyed having his grandchildren on his acreage where they loved to drive the tractor and play hide-n-seek in the dark with the Honda scooter he bought them.  He was very proud of his grandchildren.

Doyle was a great storyteller and could recite Bible Scriptures and poetry.  He was able to memorize just about anything.  He loved life more than anyone.  He had a favorite saying to express how much he enjoyed something, "I had an elephant of a time and enjoyed it rhinocerosly".  Doyle's favorite farewell was not goodbye, but "Cheerio".  So, Dad "Cheerio" for now until we see you in Heaven.
