Dradie Dee (Thompson) Foster
1928-2014
Dradie Dee (Thompson) Foster passed from this life Feb.12, 2014, to embrace an eagerly-anticipated reunion with her one true love, husband Dick Foster.
Born Dec. 7, 1928, in Apache, OK to Drs. Harmon C. and Eva Irion Thompson, she began in 1962 to work as a comptometer operator at the TG&Y offices. Dradie had many interests, including night-time phone talks with her granddaughter, using Olive Garden coupons with her son, and going gambling with her daughter.
Her greatest pastime was loving her family and being with her children, grands, great-grands, and her precious new great-great-grandson.
Dradie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, and sister. She is survived by daughter Jacque; son Jim (wife Patty); granddaughter Kelly (husband Jay); granddaughter Eva (husband Jeremey); great-granddaughter Kenady; great-grandson Kyle (Katie); and great-great-grandson Brooks. Dradie (Kelly's "Grandmama" and Eva's "Honey") was truly the essence of pure family love. We will miss her, but we know she is with her husband, her mother, and all of her loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, Dradie's wish was to support the Leukemia Foundation.
Graveside service at 11:00 AM Monday, Feb. 17, 2014 at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond.
