August 31, 1944 – July 17, 2022
Duff Edward Alger, Major USMC (Retired), age 77 of Edmond, died peacefully at his home on July 17, 2022. Born in Auburn, New York on August 31, 1944, he was the son of the late John and Nancy Alger. Duff was a proud Marine Corps Veteran and was deeply loved by his family.
Duff was predeceased by his son Michel Alger. He is survived by his two daughters Maggie (David) Nagy of Southport, CT, Meghan (Joseph) Laganza of Trumbull, CT, and his grandchildren Jack, Sydney and Charlie Laganza. Duff is also survived by his five brothers and sisters, Jackie (Thomas) Bruskotter of Del Mar, CA, Brian (Joan) Alger of Minneapolis, MN, Vonnie (Butch) Lair of Monument, CO, Patrick (Tammy) Alger of Oklahoma City, OK, and Marty Alger of Piedmont, OK as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations by made in Duff's name to a veterans charity of your choice.
