Dwight Miller
1946-2016
Dwight Miller, 69, of Edmond, OK passed away on January 18, 2016. He was born on February 21, 1946 to Herb and Bea Miller in Cumberland, MD. Dwight attended Parkville High School in Parkville, MD where he was a member of the marching band and orchestra. He married Donna Barnett on Sept. 9, 1967 in Middle River, MD.
Dwight was a journeyman machinist. He enjoyed fishing, classic cars, shifter kart racing, and especially touring all over this beautiful country on his motorcycle. Dwight was always willing to help anybody who needed it no questions asked. He was a "jack" of all trades, claimer of none. He was a lifetime member of the American Motorcycle Association, a member of Poker Chips Dixie Lane Band, and a member of BHLOT.
Dwight was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Donna, of Edmond, OK, his daughter Candice Nicole Miller Barnthouse and husband Tim of Edmond, OK, grandson, Tabor Talley and wife Katrina of Del City, OK, sister, Sandra Miller Bailey of Baltimore, MD, mother-in-law, Betty Presnell Barnett, nephews, Kirk Katzenberger and wife Karen of Forest Hill, MD, Terry Bailey and wife Tiffany of Baltimore, MD, Shawn Bailey and wife Kimberly of Belair, MD, and Steven Bailey and wife Teresa of Baltimore, MD, many grandnieces, grandnephews, friends, and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel Edmond, OK, interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City, OK.
