Eddie Kay Burt
1952 – 2025
Kay was born August 30, 1952, in Houston, TX. Kay entered heaven on March 3, 2025. Kay loved working with Special Needs kids transporting them to and from school. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Eddie Kay and Dorothy Stipe Brown, Earl and Joyce Burt, brother Sid Emmert and niece Kim Metcalf. She is survived by her husband David Burt of 53 years. Family, Dwayne and Ann Burt of Arcadia, Sandy Burt of Guthrie, Radonna Ross of Guthrie, Sarah Ross of Edmond, Courtney and Jacob Carter of Guthrie, Holly and Wendell Birt of Newcastle, and Brandon and Rachel Burt of Northlake, TX. Additional family of Raymond and Maxine Emmert, Sonya Emmert, Kent and Felicia Emmert, Eric and Angela Emmert, Kara and Jason Rice. Kay had many great nieces and nephews. Kay's LOUD and joyful spirit will be missed by all.
A visitation to celebrate the life of Eddie "Kay" Burt will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Matthews Funeral Home with family present to greet friends and guests.
