Eddie Feng

1958-2015

Eddie was born in Taipei, Taiwan. He went to be with God on April 20, 2015, in Oklahoma City, OK. Eddie met his loving wife, Dr. Josie Cheng, in Edmond, Oklahoma while both were attending Central State University. This higher-education institution is now known as University of Central Oklahoma (UCO). Eddie attended UCO and majored in computer science.

Eddie and Josie were happily married for 30 years. They have two wonderful adult children, Becky and Christopher. Becky has an MBA and started a management consulting company. Christopher attends OU, majoring in Geology.

Eddie worked for UPS for two years. He then worked for the Departmental Environmental Quality (DEQ) for 25 years. Eddie received the Governor's Commendation for extraordinary dedication and loyalty for DEQ. Eddie was also recognized as an honorary retiree for his distinguished and outstanding service in his efforts to provide a better environment for the citizens of Oklahoma.

Eddie bore the fragrance of Christ and fruits of the Holy Spirit. Eddie loved God and served his family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors with humility, patience, kindness, and joy. Eddie served at Henderson Hills Baptist Church (HHBC) as a deacon, a servant leader in the Edmond community, and a summer missionary in Mexico.

Eddie was diagnosed with Glioblastoma (GBM) in November 2014. GBM is an aggressive brain cancer but Eddie courageously battled this terminal illness with 2 brain surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. Towards the end, Eddie was in and out of the ER and ICU. On April 20, 2015, Eddie was healed for eternity and went home to be with God. He is now rejoicing in Heaven with the saints and loving family members such as Dr. Jack Hough, Eddie's dad, and Josie' mom.
