1926-2016

Evelyn May Lindsey was born September 8, 1926 in Enid, Oklahoma. She went to join her Lord and Savior the morning of Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Integris Hospice House.

Evelyn was a member of First Baptist Church of Edmond. She was preceded in death by her daughter Blanche Ann Calvert, her husband Eugene D. Lindsey and her seven siblings. She is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Jody and Kimberly Walker, and Bryan and Jennifer Spiers; five grandchildren, Alex Calvert, Jessica Cobb, Kelsey Wilson, Lindsey Spiers, Isaac Spiers, and one great granddaughter, Logan Cobb. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

Evelyn was an avid walker and chocolate eater. Spending time with family and traveling was what she lived for.

The family would like to thank the wonderful Marcella Pacheco and Roberta Cothrum for their care and companionship in Evelyn's final years.

Services will be held Monday, January 18th at 10:00 am, at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond.
