Fred R. Evans
1932-2014
Fred R. Evans, 82, passed away on September 27, 2014. Fred retired from Continental Baking Co. After retiring, Fred started his own business, One Grand Park Snack Bar in Oklahoma City, which he and his wife, Betty, ran for fourteen years.
Survivors include wife, Betty Duke Evans, daughter, Sherry Burroughs and husband Tom, daughter, Mitzi Jordan and husband Curt, four grandchildren, Justin Hatcher and wife, Jessica, Ryan Burroughs and wife, Jennifer, Evan Burroughs, and Misty Jordan, two great grandchildren, Payton and Audrey Hatcher, brother, Ronald Evans and wife, Estelle, and also many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children. Services are 2pm Friday October 3, 2014 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel.
