Garald (Gary) Dwayne Worley, 77, of Oklahoma City, passed away on March 10, 2026. He was born on March 9, 1949, in Oklahoma City to the late Carl and Catherine Worley.

Gary grew up in Midwest City and graduated from high school in 1967. He continued his education, earning an engineering degree from Oklahoma State University and a master’s degree from the University of Central Oklahoma. In 1972, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served as a Lieutenant and Navigator on C-130 aircraft. After serving his country, Gary built a long and successful career as an engineer, working in the field for more than 40 years.

Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Worley. They were married for 43 years.

He is survived by his sister, Barbara Cobb of Springfield, Missouri; his brother, Joe Worley (Kate) of Flower Mound, Texas; and his sister, Carla Thomas (Steve) of Mustang, Oklahoma; along with the Hearn family and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Gary will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13400 N. Kelley Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
