Gary Lynn Taylor, 68, of Broken Arrow, OK passed away September 18, 2013 in Tulsa, OK. He was born on November 19, 1944 in Oklahoma City, OK to Elvia & Dorothy (Dial) Taylor. Gary served in the Army National Guard and later began his own paper and printing business. He is survived by his wife, Karla Taylor; sons, Dean Taylor and Glenn & Jamie Taylor; grandchildren Abby & Jackson Taylor; mother, Dorothy Taylor-Watson; brother Elvia & Velta Taylor; in-laws, Randy & Janet Hardridge, Robin Hardridge and Beverly Hardridge; along with a niece, many nephews, in-laws, life-long friends and other family members. He was preceded in death by E.H. Taylor, Jr., Allen Watson, Dora Dial, C.O. and Jessie Hardridge, LittleBit, Buckwheat, Billy and many great friends. Services for Gary will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, September 23, 2013 in the Matthews Funeral Home Chapel in Edmond, OK with interment to follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery in Oklahoma City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
